Leaving Älmhult in am

Hi, again,

Here’s our last entry before we see you all again.

Tuesday, 3/20/07
We spent a relaxing day at the Hudsons'. We celebrated Buck’s birthday. Patty made some delicious red currant pies – another first for us. The berries grow in their back yard.
In the evening Anders, his wife, Ingrid, and their son, Elias stopped by to wish Buck a happy birthday. So we got to see how well Elias is doing first hand.

Wednesday, 3/21/07
Today Buck took us to Orrefors and Kosta Boda glass outlets. We had a great day shopping, and stopped for a traditional Swedish lunch at the restaurant at Orrefors. Now we’re trying to fit it all in suitcases.
We enjoyed a meal with the whole family tonight. It was fun – great conversation around the table.
We leave early in the morning on the train for Copenhagen, then by air to Chicago. We’ll spend the night in Chicago, and then meet up with the family on Friday a.m. Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!
